Discontinued: Fleet Telematics and Vehicle Tracking services

We have made a sensible decision to discontinue our Fleet Telematics and Vehicle Tracking services, following a similar decision by EE - the UK's biggest mobile operator - to withdraw their own EE Auto Mate fleet tracking service and exit the market themselves.

The "Race to the Bottom"

After careful consideration, we believe that fleet tracking has become a commodity market where client feedback has suggested that their primary—and sometimes only—purchasing factor is price rather than service or features. This ‘race to the bottom’ makes it difficult to justify price increases from our alternative vendor, especially as (unlike Business Mobile providers) they did not include free direct end-user support within all of their packages. Rather than compromise our support standards to align with a commodity market, we have instead chosen to follow EE and gracefully discontinue our fleet tracking offerings.
